BACKGROUND
Mercedes - Cedes to those close to her - is 32 years of age.  Born on Earth, she spent her life in the same city shuffling between parents houses. Growing up in London, she developed a taste for the rich history that she found there, studying as much of the history as she could.  She was your average student, though was a loner of sorts.  She had a few friends, though she would rather be buried in a history book.  Upon entering Star Fleet Academy, she set her goals towards completing the medicine field.  After graduating, she spent time studying on ships, learning under some of the great CMO's in the fleet.Now - she is applying for her first chance as CMO.
